
A company approached us with a request to hold a strategy session for the Ingosstrakh VHI team. The main objectives of the strategic session were:
Strengthen collaboration and communication within the team.
Increase the level of initiative, involvement and personal responsibility of employees.
Form hypotheses on the development of key business areas.
Identify and work through "anchors" - factors that stunt team and business growth.
The strategy session was an important stage in the development of the team and finding solutions to achieve new business goals.
We used FRAME and Lighting Decision Jam techniques to effectively conduct the strategy session.
The work was structured in two phases:
Team Dynamics and Engagement
Conducted a series of practical exercises aimed at developing open communication, initiative and responsibility within the team. We analyzed real-life situations of interaction and recorded areas of growth.
Making Strategic Decisions
Using the Lighting Decision Jam method, participants analyzed the strengths and weaknesses of the company's performance in four key areas:
Product
Sales
Marketing
Internal business processes
Development hypotheses were formed on the basis of the analysis. For each area, the team identified two main "anchors" - constraints hindering development, and proposed 10-15 specific ideas for their elimination.
Generated a pool of 40+ hypotheses to address key business constraints.
Responsible leaders for hypothesis development and implementation of initiatives are identified.
A follow-up schedule has been established: monthly meetings to track the implementation of ideas.
Scheduled the next strategy session for June 2025 to take stock and adjust the strategy.
Analysis of participant engagement showed areas of growth:
Work with discipline and time management (tardiness, shifting attention to non-systematic tasks).
Increased internal accountability and completion of initiatives taken.
We offered the company additional trainings on the topics:
Effective time management.
Task prioritization and goal setting.
Personal responsibility in a team.
This will help reinforce the results of the strategy session and cement a culture of achievement.
This is the second phase of working with the Ingostrakh DMS team.
Some of the initiatives from the first strategic session of 2024 have been successfully implemented.
The outstanding arrangements have been adapted and reworked into the current development program.
